Anita Wen is an emerging Chinese-Australian artist based in Sydney. She creates intricate pen illustrations on paper, taking inspiration from historical architecture, urban scenes, everyday encounters, and the people and animals in her personal life. Her meticulous pen-work focuses on the often overlooked details of everyday experiences.

 

Anita graduated with Honours (2020) in Media Arts from the University of New South Wales Art & Design. Alongside her artistic pursue, she works as a Visual Arts teacher, fostering creativity and artistic confidence in young people. While teaching remains a significant part of her professional life, Anita continues to develop her own creative practice and is committed to expanding her body of work alongside her teaching career.
